Old Navy offers a 10% military discount on the 1st-4th of each month you must have a military id, if you have a id from the VA that will pass sometimes.  Its always worth a shot.

Hint #1 – The first thing that you need to do if you are looking for a Military/Veteran discount is to just ASK!!  You will be suprised how many stores will give you a discount if you just ask for it.  There are a lot of different websites that provide “supposed” listings of stores that offer discounts but I’ve found that I can get a Military/Veteran discount at pretty much any store if you just ask.

Hint #2  - If a store tells you that they don’t give a military/veteran discount, tell them that their competitor does and 9 out of 10 times they will give it to you, especially in this economy.  For example, the other day I was purchasing a few things at HOME DEPOT and I asked about a discount, they told me that they only did at certain times.  Very politely I explained that LOWES does it all the time, without hesitation the cashier then gave me a 10% discount.

Hint #3 – A lot stores discounts are on the 1st or the 15th, because as we all know thats when we get paid.

Hint #4 – If you can purchase around Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day you are more likely to get a discount.

Hint #5 – Always call ahead even if a website says that they give discounts, just to make sure that it hasn’t expired or has other restrictions.
